We encountered a problem with the back wheel locking up, the driver Ishmael turned into MacGyver and got the car hoisted up safely. - “They don’t deserve 1 star. Have filed numerous grievances against this company as a vendor with IEHP. Have missed or was late for doctor appointments, scheduling appointments incorrect, wait to be picked up from appointments 3 hours, am disabled and have used my walker to walk to the main road to flag down A.L. drivers, disconnected phone calls, rude employees, no concern for passengers, I can go on and on. I now request transportation from other IEHP vendors. If I can’t get a different vendor, I won’t schedule transportation. On top of stress with my medical problems they have caused anxiety issues. - “I was really sick with a bad kidney infection + kidney stones at home, needed a ride to my therapy appointment… Driver showed up, we leave, I threw up OUTSIDE of the car about a mile from my house, and the driver ditched me on the side of the road. Drove off with his door wide open. When I called ALS, the operator barely spoke English and transferred me to someone who only told me ‘we don’t book rides on the weekend’ then hung up. This company is starting to use independent contractors i.e. WFH operators and Uber drivers, so they’ve been smooth lately, but ALWAYS have a plan B with these people.” – Natey Jaeger
- “American Logistics is a sad, unfunny joke. Rides rarely show up or are extremely late if they do. Phone agents are arrogant and rude. My fiancé got kicked off the kidney transplant program for missing a mandatory appointment due to his AL ride not arriving. They reinstated him, but he had to start the process all over again. When he called AL to complain, they said he was a no-show, but THEY were the no-show. The phone agent was snotty to him. Would give ZERO stars if I could. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!” – Lisa Parker
