Name changed to Baffle Creek Nomad Caravan Park to better reflect the nature of the business. They are a safe and tranquil park dedicated to long-stay nomadic fishermen. The minimum stay is one week in busy winter and one month in restricted summer. There are now other campsites in the area for families, overnight guests and weekenders. They have their own private boat ramp, small dock and fish cleaning station at the back of the park and one of the owners has extensive knowledge of the waterways.

They cater for those looking to getaway for a nice quiet holiday. If want somewhere to party or just want to come for a night or two, this is not the place. Minimum stay of 3 nights ensures that no one is in a rush and everyone can settle down and enjoy themselves. powered sites are large and most have in-park TV service. There is also a private boat ramp with all-tide access suitable for boats up to 5m.
Safe estuary fishing [no crocs yet] where have all normal bread and bitter species as well as the sought after northern species. Close reef outside accessible by small tinnies on good days.
Located on the Northern side of Baffle Ck. Under 3 min. to Rules Beach and just over 5 mins. to General Store, Pub and a couple of shops. Bookings are absolutely essential. No booking, no guarantee of a site.

Great place, we have meet and become friends with so many of the regular caravanners. This is a place that we so look forward to coming to each year. Sally and Roger run this park beautifully, well maintained, great size sites and shaddy trees. Special mention to the wildlife, very friendly and love a feed.
Quiet, peaceful + large spaces between vans. Enough for ute + boat. Park owners strict so No-nonsence or yahoo’s permitted. Own boat ramp, jetty. Cottage + on site vans. Water is good for drinking. Take own food + supplies as only small local store. Quite remote. Lovely river system + out to the mouth + Rules Beach.
Great spot, really friendly owners and a lovely relaxing stay here. We had a nice fire going at night with wood supplied by management. They even gave us a custard apple and lemons on arrival. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.
Just stayed for two months fishing was quiet but the owners where great with there knowledge of the area .We caught a few good fish . The park is normaly filled with grey nomand but we had a great time we will be back again tight lines and great company feeling totaling relaxed .
Drove 1 1/2 hours to camp grounds hoping to stay two nights only to get abused for “speeding” in the gate.. we followed the speed signs and we were doing under the 10km. Rudest owners I’ve ever met!! Will never stay here and never recommend them to anyone. Only want over 65 year old people to stay. Your replay is full of lies park was not full WAS doing 10km Had booked to stay only to be turn away on arrival
My wife and I stayed there with your two little dogs for three night’s a week ago, and we both enjoyed the stay, & we will be going back soon. PS we could not get s powder site because they were all taken.
