The Greater Fort Worth Builders Association — also known as the GFWBA — is led by voluntary committees and a board of directors. It’s one of twenty-eight local associations that make up the Texas Association of Builders, or TAB.
The GFWBA is also affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders, or NAHB. It represents hundreds of builders within the homebuilding industry in the greater Fort Worth area.
The association’s mission is led by these groups, who are comprised of trade contractors, builders and businesses related to real estate. The benefits of belonging to this organization include exchanging information, communicating, educating members and interacting with legislative bodies at the local, state and federal levels.
Their other purposes are to foster a positive environment for building in the climate, implement policies and promote professionalism among their members.
Mission Statement & Guiding Principles
Garabedian Properties and its sister company Builder Recovery Services LLC (both members of the GFWBA) have recently come a long way through the court system in their dispute with the City of Westlake. On March 23, 2022, her case will be heard in the Texas Supreme Court. This is where it all started. Back in 2015, Michael Garabedian started a construction waste hauling company to keep his home’s construction site clean. Over time, other construction companies have turned to Builder Recovery Services (BRS) to keep job sites clean.
