Patients receiving outpatient and inpatient care are entitled to an inquiry about their personal care. Ratings and reviews displayed are for providers who have received at least 30 return surveys within a 12-month period and relate to all care provider survey questions. To help our patients better understand the transparency program (ratings and ratings), the rationale behind how ratings are calculated, why ratings and ratings are not published for each EHC provider, and how this information can be helpful to patients.

Reviews

I have been going to her for years, so has my husband and children now that they are adults. I will agree that she is very blunt, and straight forward, however that is why you go to a doctor, to get answers, a medical action plan, and follow that plan. I have gotten referrals when I needed them, and even when I was reluctant to agree to them, she knew what was best, and in the end, it was for the best. I highly recommend her.

I read the comments before choosing her as my doctor. I am new to the area relocated from Augusta to Decatur and needed a doctor. Yes, she’s blunt but she’s very cargo and compassionate in what she does. Most people want the truth to be sugar-coated but why? I’ve been on medication all my adult life she’s the VERY FIRST doctor who advised me to get off of it and why. Keep doing what you’re doing you’re doing you have gained my respect thank you!!!

I really liked Dr Welch. She answered all of my concerns without any hesitation. I had a list of things I wanted to discuss as a new patient and she was very helpful. She made me feel comfortable. She knew what she was doing and that help me to relax.

I had a horrible cough for four months and Dr.Welch made me take three Covid tests before I expressed that want not taking another Covid test and that I needed medical treatment. Another time we agreed on a treatment plan to treat another illness; however, she referred me out before ever attempting the treatment plan. I am currently in the hospital and you think she has called to check on her patient…NOPE. Should have read the reviews on Dr.welch first.

Dr. Welch is beyond amazing!!!!!!! She truly cares about her patients. She listens to you and works with you to formulate a game plan for your health. She is honest. She is real. She informative. If you’re looking for a great PCP she is a must have! You won’t regret it!
