The Service League of Michigan City provides medical equipment to patients as they recover at home. Supplies are loaned out for three months without regard to the patient’s income.
All patients are required to present a valid ID when applying for equipment from the Service League. Homebound recuperation eliminates the need to visit a doctor. Service League of Michigan City helps people out Residents can use the facility to access: Safety and bathroom aids need to be adjusted frequently. Walking aids are used to help people who have difficulty walking.
A $50 cash knee walker is deposit required and refundable. Briefs for adults are useful for certain occasions. A Bed Pad is a available option.
