This really is a beautiful, well thought out park, nestled in a shady live oak grove, and seems to have something for everyone. A large area for your 🐕 🐕🐩dogs to frolic off-leash is separate from the children’s playground that doesn’t permit dogs,so we had to choose to leave ours home when taking our granddaughter to play.
She had such a great time playing with new friends, that leaving Rotary Park made her cry.Great park! Okay normal playground area. Walking trail around a nice sized pond with a fountain in the middle. A large gazebo in the midst of some beautiful large swamp trees with Spanish moss hanging. We had fun here. A very nice park.
This park also functions as a trailhead for the River to Sea loop trail. Restrooms are located here, and you can ride 4 miles south to the Cow Creek trailhead and continue on 12 more miles to Maytown.
Great park love the trial my friends and I when from Miami to Edgewater just to cycling this magical trail.
We like the playground. There is also a dog park and pond. Bathrooms are clean and good for the littles. It would be nice if there were a paved trail around the pond for strollers, etc. Airplanes flying overhead from the nearby airport are always a nice treat.
