The menu advertised $9 for a whole chicken which was great, but when I was handed my receipt, I was charged over $16. The lady said the menu price was incorrect, even though that was the menu the restaurant was currently using. It was on the counter, said the real price is $12. I asked her if it’s $12 (which I was still willing to pay), why am I being charged over $16. She said it was the tax. I don’t know where anyone would charge over $4 for buying something for $12. The math did not make sense, and I felt like I was being played for a fool. This place falsely advertises and makes up their prices as they go. I understand we are all going through inflation but don’t be dishonest. I ended up canceling and asking for a refund, which was also a hot mess. Be wary of this place.”
