The Little North Pole

November 4, 2022

Little North Pole is back this year for another fun holiday! With its grand opening celebration on Sunday, December 5, Joe Moore’s famous Little North Pole will continue one of the Rockaways’ most popular holiday traditions for another year and hopefully raise more money to help find a cure for the disease. Juvenile disease. diabetes.

Since the first lights came on, Little North Pole has been in operation for over two and a half years, has raised over $2 million for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and brought smiles to countless people, children and adults. Every December, you travel from far and wide to see the lights and sights that adorn Mure’s front yard.

A few years ago, after winning the $50,000 grand prize on ABC’s Great American Light Fight in 2018, the local landmark took to the national stage after beating several other holiday shows across the country. Since 2018, Mure has only gained more traction by adding a little sparkle to the show each year.

Those willing to help support Little North Pole’s mission to end juvenile diabetes can donate through their website littlenorthpole.org.

Little North Pole is located at 144-03 Newport Avenue. The festivities begin on Sunday, December 5th at 3:00pm – don’t miss it!

Reviews

Beautiful decorations but extremely rude people tried to walk on the sidewalk in front of the house with my granddaughter and they asked me for a password and said no out sliders allowed. While smoking a cigar and blowing the smoke in my granddaughter n my face extremely disrespectful and rude. And as a Rockaway resident I feel it’s offensive to say no outsiders allowed. So if I could would give a -12*
