Amazing food and stellar service!! Truly one of the best “diners” in the area. I’ll be sure to stop in again on my next road trip.
Tried the Texas Chili Omelette. My boy got the Cajun Seafood Omelette. We got a cinnamon roll for the table. Food was great and brought out quick, but the server wasn’t really on her game today. Coffee was only refilled once. I had to remind her about the Ketchup and Tabasco. Still, this blows away most breakfast places and will return again and again.
Love Love coming here when I’m in Bakersfield. The service was good. We got seated right away on a Monday. Though when we went on a weekend one time, we did wait about ~half an hour, but that’s pretty expected for any brunch/breakfast spot.
Anyways, I always order the Cajun Seafood Omelette! (It isn’t on the menu, but you can still order it) with potatoes & a biscuit + gravy. I’m not a biscuit and gravy person, but this one hits soo different. The biscuit is soft and moist and the gravy is sooo good! Will always come back when I’m in the area.
Still the best place for breakfast/brunch in Bakersfield. Friendly prompt service, great food, huge menu, full meal for $18. Big horseshoe bar and lots of tables, expect a line on weekend mornings.

Wasn’t that hungry, but my buddy wanted breakfast before we headed up the hill for a weekend of fishing. Checked Yelp for highly rated suggestions. I decided on oatmeal that morning. Long cooked to perfection. Buddy was very satisfied, will come by again when in the area…
This place is awesome wonderful staff and great food 10/10. The Christmas tamales were excellent and great to taste. It had a bit of spice but not too much for a breakfast dish. The mimosas come with a personal bottle of champagne which I like so you could pour to your taste yum!

Perfect meal in our way to Yosemite. Service was excellent! Steak was perfect, pumpkin pancakes with cinnamon pecan butter was yum!
