Combo $13.05: Came with chicken tikka & lamb. Lamb was good. Chicken tikka was ok, did not stand out like I was hoping. You can ask for the mango relish but I didn’t like it.

Overall: Saw this on YouTube (Jon Barr). Was not busy. Friendly service. Decent food, but not something I’d personally go out of my way for.

Every time I come to NYC I make a stop here to get my fix. Great food and great customer service.

I had heard a lot about this food cart from several YouTube videos, so I had to try it. We ordered the chicken curry over rice and the chicken Kathi roll. Both dishes were just $10 each and came in large portions. The food tasted excellent, and the service was quick. The person at the cart was also friendly.

If you’re in NYC and craving incredible food, you have to check out Royal Grill Halal Food. This was the best meal I had during my trip – and my only regret was eating here only once. I ordered the chicken biryani, and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly spiced, flavorful, and packed with juicy chicken.

The service was super fast, and it was one of the most affordable places we ate at during our visit to NYC. If you walk down 44th, there are several benches where you can stop and enjoy your food. For the quality of the food, I honestly couldn’t believe how cheap it was. Highly recommend Royal Grill to anyone looking for amazing halal food in the city – you won’t be disappointed!

Got the highly recommended chicken tikka with rice. Worth very single bit of hype. One of the best halal carts I’ve tried in the city.

Found a huge nail in my food lol. The food is ok too. Honestly so dangerous bc it’s such a big nail….

I hadn’t had halal cart food in years, so I knew I had to come here. We got the lamb over rice as well as the chicken over rice. The lamb over rice really hit the spot, especially since I asked for extra hot sauce and extra white sauce. The chicken over rice honestly wasn’t as good – the meat was a little bland and they didn’t add as much sauce on it. Regardless, the food here scratched my itch for halal cart food.

I come here every day for lunch during work and they always take care of me! Even better than Adel’s and it’s open longer and doesn’t have massive lines.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been numerous times since arriving in NYC and I have been blown away by the flavor and quality. I’ve had Adel’s and Halal Guys and I think this place gives them a run for their money. The service is also fantastic. The man who took my order even remembered me and what I ordered a week ago!

You can’t go wrong with either the chicken tikka or the combo over rice. Take it over to Bryant Park and enjoy.
